AT&T has released a video talking about its own Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) Over the Top Offer.

With enterprise customers focused on improving connectivity with hybrid networking solutions, Software-Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN) is still the leading solution and AT&T is certainly focusing on that market, offering the SD-WAN Over the Top service.

With applications moving to the cloud, the need to connect public cloud applications with data centers, branch locations, and remote sites, without compromising the security or reliability, is now usually fulfilled with SD-WAN.

With dynamic policy-based management, which ensures both end-to-end encryption, network traffic prioritization, bandwidth aggregation and internet offload, the SD-WAN, including one offered by AT&T is definitely the way to go.

AT&T currently offers SD-WAN over the Top with SD-WAN Network Based coming soon. The first one is offered in partnership with VeloCloud.
