Introducing Azure Sphere webinar


Microsoft has announced a new webinar that will focus on introduction to Microsoft Azure Sphere, which will be held on May 30th at 11 AM CEST.

Focused on introducing Microsoft Azure Sphere for EMEA market, the webinar will include speakers like Dr. Galen Hunt, distinguished Engineer and Director for Microsoft Azure Sphere, Dr. Ed Nightingale, Azure Sphere Partner Product Architect at Microsoft, Mike Hall Principal Software Architect at Microsoft Research NExT, Jürgen Schwertl, Cloud Solution Architect for IoT Ecosystem at Microsoft, Tom O’Reilly, GM of IoT Device Experience at Microsoft, and Martin Grossen Head of Supplier Management at Avnet Silica.

Microsoft describes Azure Sphere as a solution for creating highly-secured, connected microcontroller unit (MCU) powered devices and as a secure way to power the intelligent edge.

The Azure Sphere uses Azure Sphere certified microcontrollers (MCUs), the Azure Sphere OS, purpose-built OS with multiple layers of security, and the Azure Sphere Security Service, a turnkey, cloud service aimed to guard every Azure Sphere device with certificate-based authentication for device-to-device and device-to-cloud communication.

As noted, the webinar, titled “Introducing Azure Sphere (EMEA)”, is now open for registration direclty at Microsoft’s dedicated site.
