Cisco talks about its Webex

Cisco has launched a new video and a blog post which talks about Cisco Webex, a new platform for virtual meetings that was relaunched at the Cisco Collaboration Summit in Phoenix April.

Kicking off the marketing campaign with an actress from award-winning series Stranger Things, Millie Bobby Brown, Cisco aims to provide much better virtual meeting environment with Cisco Webex, which includes meeting spaces, messaging, file sharing, whiteboards, and video calls.

Cisco was keen to note that Millie was not chosen just since she is the youngest person to get on the TIME 100 List of Most Influential People, but also to promote Cisco’s push to increase the number of women and girls in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Cisco has been pushing hard to promote its Webex platform since it rebranded or rather converged the Cisco Spark and Webex Platform back in April. This included the launch of the new Webex Meetings application, a new Webex Teams application, the new Webex Assistant, and the Webex Share hardware device.

You can check out more details about the new Webex Platform in the video below and find the aforementioned blog over at Cisco’s blog page.
