Sophos talks about HTTP versus HTTPS

Sophos has published a new video that talks about the differences between HTTP and HTTPs and what the new extension of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) brings.

Brought by Paul Ducklin, and originally a part of Sophos’ Nakedsecurity blog, the video explains about HTTPs and what does it bring for security on the web.

With most of the browsers now marking non-HTTPs sites as insecure and risky, the video is a good start to get all the details about HTTP and the HTTPs.

“HTTPs deals with how the data is moved between you and the server. It does not deal with the sanity, the sanctity, the safety, the security of the data on the server itself”, Paul concluded with the video.

You can check out the video above or find it directly at Sophos’ Nakedsecurity blog.
